The painting is a study and projection of my impression of an exhibition window, from a history museum in Tokyo, originated from a sense of appreciation of the pure beauty of skeletal forms and the composition created through strategic layouts in that space. The act of not finishing the painting in full detail and resemblance preserves the ‘impression’ of an exhibition, in which a viewer only has access to the fullest detail and beauty when they are in the environment.
