This painting is a study and projection of my impression of an exhibition window in a historical museum in Tokyo. It originated from a sense of appreciation for the pure beauty of skeletal forms and the strategic composition of that space. The act of not finishing the painting in full detail preserves the ‘impression’ of an exhibition, ensuring that a viewer only has access to the fullest detail and beauty when they are physically present in the environment.
