Series

Initial introduction to the use of numbers and pattern to the series of bones artwork, inspired by the labeling with numbers, linking each sample to its corresponding stories in a real history museum. I was drawn by the power of composition, form and the idea of ‘indication’ through those arranged numbers, and attempted to bring attention to numbers to this piece by simplifying, or rather conceptualize the actual exhibits in the piece to juxtapose the solid, defined numbers.
