Originated from the prototype of the installation in the series of bones and collection, the painting references a 3D model of a realistic fox skull viewed from different angles, creating a continuous motion of spinning, replicating the experience when viewing an exhibit of bones, the series of paintings could also be understood as a study to repeated images in sequence, taken inspiration from photographer Eadweard Muybridge’s iconic works of his subjects in motion, the slight change of detail in every frame and the aesthetic created from the differences, the series adapts similar concept but more ambiguity and creative freedom between each frames.
